Angels Drop Fourth Straight Game

by @ 5:36 pm. Filed under 1967 Angels, 1967 Angels Diary - July

July 29, 1967 at D.C. Stadium
Senators 3, Angels 2  (54-48)

The Angels lost their fourth straight game as, like most of the season, their offense couldn’t produce enough runs.  Jimmie Hall belted a pinch hit solo homerun and Rick Reichardt went one for two with a run and a walk.

Minnie Rojas gave up the losing run in the seventh inning.  He gave up just the one run but it was the one that mattered and he fell to 7-7 on the season.
