Angels Edge Yankees Behind Solid Hitting By Jose Cardenal

The Angels got just enough in a win over the Yankees and it was Jose Cardenal who led the way at the plate for the Angels.  He went two for five with two RBIs and a run.  Woodie Held went two for three with two walks and an RBI.

Minnie Rojas improved to 8-7 on the season with a 1 2/3 innings of relief.  He gave up one hit and a walk.  Bill Kelso picked up his seventh save of the season with a shutout ninth.
