Angels Halt Slide With Win Over Athletics

Angels 6, Athletics 3  (15-22)

The Angels had lost their last three and nine of their last ten and there hoping that they finally put an end to the losing with a nice win over the Athletics.  Don Mincher had a big game and he went two for four with a homerun and three RBIs.  Tom Satriano also contributed with a double and two RBIs.

Jim McGlothlin had another nice start and he improved to 3-1 on the season.  He gave up three unearned runs one six hits and one walk with four strikeouts in a complete game.
