Angels Held to Four Hits In Loss to Senators

by @ 4:11 pm. Filed under Uncategorized

May 5, 1967 at Anaheim Stadium
Senators 4, Angels 1  (10-11)

The Angels offense struggled to do much of anything as they were completely shut down in a 4-1 loss to the Senators.  All four of their hits were singles and it’s somewhat of a surprise that they even scored a run.  Bobby Knoop drove Don Mincher for the only run of the game.

George Brunet dropped to 1-4 on the season in a mediocre start. He gave up three runs on six hits and three walks with three strikeouts in six innings of work.
