The Angels got right back to losing after their day off and it was the hitters who once again couldn’t get it done.  Jim Fregosi picked up two of the Angels six hits and he drove in the only run of the game. 

Jim McGlothlin fell to 9-3 on the season with the loss.  He gave up four runs on seven hits and three walks with five strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.
