Angels Held to Three Hits In Sixth Straight Loss

by @ 5:43 pm. Filed under 1967 Angels, 1967 Angels Diary - May

May 16, 1967 at Municipal Stadium
Athletics 4, Angels 3  (13-19)

The Angels slide continued with a pretty poor offensive performance in their sixth straight loss.   The team managed just three hits, two walks and one hit batter and not surprisingly, all six base runners were stranded.

Jim McGlothlin dropped to 2-1 with a rough start.  He gave up four runs (just one earned) on six hits and three walks with three strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings.
