May 31, 1967 at D.C. Stadium
Senators 6, Angels 3  (18-27)

It was a pretty tough month for the Angels and they finished it on a losing note.  They finished May 10-18 and they’re in dead last ten games back of first place Detroit.

Nick Wilhite had a rough start and he dropped to 0-2 on the season.  He gave up five runs on five hits and two walks with two strikeouts in just 2 2/3 innings.

Don Mincher was the hitting star in the win. He went three for four with a run and an RBI.  Buck Rodgers singled and he drove in two runs in the loss.
