Angels Offense Shut Down In Second Straight Loss to Senators

by @ 5:01 pm. Filed under Uncategorized

May 6, 1967 at Anaheim Stadium
Senators 2, Angels 0  (10-12)

Just like yesterday, the Angels got little from their hitters.  They picked up one more hit then they did yesterday but none of those base runners crossed the plate.  Oddly, Jose Cardenal had a great individual performance.  He had four of the White Sox five hits.

A nice start by Rickey Clark went to waste.  He gave up two runs on ten hits and one walks with seven strikeouts in 8 1/3 innings.
