August 8, 1967 at Anaheim Stadium
Yankees 1, Angels 0 (58-53)
The Angels got their share of hits, they just couldn’t push anyone over the plate as five different Angels had two hits a piece. Buck Rodgers had the only extra base hit of the game for either side with a triple but even he couldn’t score after he was gunned down at the plate on a ground ball to the shortstop.
George Brunet took the loss and he fell to 11-13. He gave up the one first inning run on four hits and five walks with two strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings.
