Angels 8 (26-33), Indians 3
The Angels got right back on track in a win in their first game of a doubleheader with the Indians. Jon Brunet picked up the win and he improved to 3-9 on the season. He gave up three runs on six hits and three walks with six strikeouts in a complete game.
Jimmie Hall went one for two with two walks, a homerun, two runs and two RBIs. Don Mincher also had a nice game and he went two for four with a walk, three RBIs and two runs.

The Angels made two wins in one day as they finished up a doubleheader sweep over the Indians. Rickey Clark improved to 3-6 with the win and he gave up three runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks with four strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings. Bill Kelso struck out three in a 3 1/3 perfect innings and he picked up his second save of the season.
Bubba Morton singled, drew a wak and scored two runs in the win. Rick Reichardt went two for four with a double, a run and an RBI.
