Angels 5, Athletics 1  (16-22)

It’s been a while, but the Angels have a winning streak.  Jack Sanford had a nice start in the Angels second straight win and he improved to 3-2 on the season.  He gave up one run on five hits and one walk with two strikeouts in seven innings.  Minnie Rojas closed it and threw two shutout innings to pick up his third save of the season.

Jimmie Hall hit a two run homer in the win.  Jim Fregosi went two for three with a solo homerun and a walk.
