Red Sox 5, Athletics 3  (58-46)

The Red Sox got back on track despite a rough start but Bill Landis.  Bill Landis gave up three runs in two innings but Dave Morehead picked him up out of the pen.  He gave up four hits and a walk with one strikeout in five shutout innings of relief.

Mike Andrews was the hitting star.  He went three for five with a homerun, three RBIs and a run.  The homer was Ryan’s seventh long ball of the season.
