The Angels winning ways were rather short as they got right back to losing, although a decent start by George Brunet went to waste. He fell to 11-16 and he gave up three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks with two strikeouts and he gave up the game winner with two outs in the bottom of the ninth.
Tom Satriano went two for three with a solo homerun. Jim Fregosi went three for three with two doubles and an RBI.
