Senators 7, Red Sox 3 (26-25)
Lee Stange was shelled and he dropped to 0-4 on the season with a rough start. He gave up six runs (five earned) on nine hits and a walk with three strikeouts in five innings. The pen did a nice job in this one though. Dan Osinski gave up a single run in his two innings but Bill Landis threw two shutout innings.
George Scott hit a two run homer in the loss. It was his tenth of the season. Rico Petrocelli went two for four and he belted his seventh homerun of the season.
