Tigers 4, Indians 2  (15-7)

The Tigers continued to roll behind a strong outing by Mickey Lolich.  It was the Tigers fifth straight win and Lolich gave up two runs on nine hits and a walk with nine strikeouts.  Gladding got the final two batters out and he picked up save number four.

Jim Northrup and Norm Cash both singled home runs in the fourth inning and then Willie Horton hit a two run shot to give the Tigers some insurance runs.
