Norm Cash Drives In Three In Tigers Loss

Athletics 8, Tigers 4  (33-27)

The Tigers dropped their third straight series today as they were doubled up by the Athletics.  Joe Sparma was roughed up in only two innings of work and he dropped his first decision of the season.

Norm Cash accounted for most of the Tigers offense.  He went two for four with a homerun and three RBIs.  Don Wert also had three hits and he drove in one run.
