Indians 3, Red Sox 2 (34-32)
Tony Conigliario singled home Mike Andrews in the bottom of the ninth but Tony C. was stranded at first as the Red Sox comeback attempt fell short in a 3-2 loss to the Indians. Conigliario finished the game with two hits and he drove in both Red Sox runs.
Bucky Brandon was hit hard and he didn’t even last through the fourth. He gave up three runs on seven hits and two walks with two strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings.
