June 25, 1967 at Municipal Stadium
Angels 4 (35-37), Athletics 3

Rick Reichardt hit a huge grand slam in the first inning and while they wouldn’t score the rest of the game, that’s all the Angels would end up needing for the win.  Jim Fregosi also had a nice day at the plate and he continued his solid hitting.  He went two for three with a walk and he scored on Reichardt’s slam.

George Bruent improved to 4-11 on the season with a nice enough start.  He gave up three runs on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts in 7 1/3 innings.  Minnie Rojas gave up a hit and he struck out four in 1 2/3 scoreless innings to pick up his ninth save of the season.
