For the second straight game, the White Sox took care of the Indians in an extra inning shutout. This time it was Cisco Carlos who got it done on the mound and he threw all ten innings. He gave up five hits with two strikeouts in ten shutout frames.
Don Buford had the big hit of the game. He belted a walk off grand slam to win it for the Sox.
