White Sox 2, Athletics 0 (26-17)
Tommy John threw a five hit shutout as the White Sox two game mini losing streak came to an end. He walked one and struck out seven and the win pushed his record to 4-3 on the season.
Ken Berry provided the offense. He drove in both White Sox runs with a two run single in the fourth inning. Ed Stroud tripled and scored a run in the win.

Athletics 5, White Sox 4 (26-18)
John Buzhardt was roughed up in the second game of their doubleheader against the Athletics. He gave up five runs on six hits and a walk with two strikeouts in just 3 2/3 innings. The loss drops his record to 2-4 on the season.
Tommie Agee was the hitting star in the loss. He went two for four with a homerun, two RBIs and a stolen base. Ed Stroud also helped out with two runs.
